Design Brief
GDC are notorious for their wonderful party planning, masterminding beautiful themed events within uniquely styled interior settings. White Orange was required to design a website to reflect this reputation, and showcase a selection of previous events to demonstrate the colour, vibrancy and beauty of their work. GDC show great attention to detail in their creations and the website needed to echo this.
Solution
White Orange created a website with colourful and dramatic design, complimenting the large abstract shaped images of GDC parties that were made the focal point of the pages. The design moved away from the use of straight lines to reflect the artistic and vibrant nature of GDC events. The website was divided into sections to emphasise the variety of events GDC plan. Attention to detail was key, with each thumbnail being an uneven shape to make it look like the website was painted, reflecting the colourful transformation process GDC will undertake for their clients, with these thumbnails becoming painted themselves when hovered over with the mouse.
